2010 Camp Programs

 

Early Registration is by phone this year. To register call us at 847 405 9800. Early Registration opens December 10th. Space is limited and all levels of our camps fill very fast. NEW! We've upgraded our camp programs, teaching technologies and added a new Level 5! We also added an additional hour of instruction to Levels 4 & 5 - without increasing the price. Plus more surprises to come! We strongly recommend you register early. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Summer CAMPS 2010

  • 4:1 Student to Teacher Ratio, lowest on the North Shore
  • Learn on Grass vs. Mats in a positive, inspirational, motivational environment
  • Instruction in fundamentals, short game to full swing, including practice assignments
  • Instruction with PGA Professional Staff using PGA Tour technology and video review for analysis

Level 1

Grass Start Pee Wees Ages 5 to 7

At GreenToTee learning begins where the game is played - on the grass. Starting on our grass tee range and practice greens with fun games and effective drills, each child learns the fundamentals, and understands the importance of safety, rules and etiquette, with our PGA professional staff. Kids absolutely love this program and as a result - love golf!

NEW! Each participant will receive a training aid to take home which will help reinforce techniques learned during the week!

Program Activities (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu - AM or PM)

  • Instruction in putting, chipping and full swing
  • Games, contests, drills and balance exercises
  • Fundamentals, rules and etiquette
  • Video review analysis
  • Awards and recognitions for personal achievements
  • Student to PGA Professional Staff ratio 4 to 1.

Level 2

On-Course Masters Ages 8 to 10

Discover how the "game" of golf is played. Making their way onto the golf course, beginners to intermediate participants learn and apply basic golf skills, develop techniques and understand rules, etiquette and club selection in various course conditions. With the lowest student to teacher ratio on the North Shore, GreenToTee juniors train together as a "foursome" on the course with our PGA professional staff.

Level 3

Jr. High Players Ages 11 and Up

This level of instruction is designed for players who are capable of proving they can take their game to the course and keep pace with the field. Play and instruction with our PGA professionals develops and improves decision-making, course management, the mental game and scoring skills. Players are introduced to opportunities to experience low pressure tournament play through GreenToTee's partnership with the Illinois Junior Golf Association. Intermediate to advanced players are divided by age and/or skill level. Younger players accepted based on assessment and approval by GreenToTee professional.

  • Course management and the Mental Game

Level 4

Competitive Feeder Program

Junior Varsity (5th-6th Grade)

Players learn to become their own best coach both on and off the golf course. The ability to self-measure and adjust, improve each shot, manage the mental and emotional game are skills that develop through commitment and time. This full day program is designed for those looking to bring their game to the next level. Our comprehensive, custom approach to instruction produces measurable results and improvement. With a 4 to 1 student to teacher ratio, players in each "foursome", receive individual on-course instruction with our team of GreenToTee PGA professionals.

NEW! Each participant will receive a training aid to take home which will help reinforce techniques learned during the week!

  • On-course custom instruction
  • Post Round review (Learn to measure and analyze course statistics)
  • Pre-shot routine
  • Mental control
  • PGA Tour Technology for analysis
  • Video review analysis
  • Student to PGA Professional Staff ratio 4 to 1.

Level 5

Competitive Feeder Program

Varsity (7th-8th Grade)

Players learn to measure their round with objective stat keeping, analyze their findings and understand how to plan their practice accordingly. Participants will play each day with a different playing focus. The ability to self-measure and adjust, are skills that develop through commitment and time. This full day program will also give participants an understanding on what a high school golf season requires. Our comprehensive, custom approach to instruction produces measurable results and improvement. With a 4 to 1 student to teacher ratio, players in each "foursome", receive customized, on-course instruction with our team of GreenToTee PGA professionals.

Savings & Flexible Scheduling

  • Register for two or more weeks per child and save on half day (level 1,2,3) and full day (level 4,5) camps.
  • Select and schedule multiple weeks of camps for each child to fit your family's summer schedule.
  • Camps do not have to be scheduled in a week by week, consecutive order.
  • Practice in between camps is strongly recommended.
  • Refunds: If there is a need to cancel a 90% refund will be issued through March 31, 2010. No refunds after March 31, 2010. Camps are non-transferrable. No make-up sessions for missed days.
